Sara

On November 15th, Sara Whitten from the Charlotte office will be running her second marathon, the Thunder Road Marathon, in Charlotte. She has made a commitment to raise $3,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. Although she has already met that goal, she still needs your help!

Personal Note from Sara:

MS is a disease that causes the communication between your brain and your body to get confused….almost like there is a kink in the wire that can’t be straightened…in a nut shell…your body is attacking itself.

MS occurs in most ethnic groups, including African-Americans, Asians and Hispanics/Latinos, but is more common in Caucasians of northern European ancestry – – that would be me…!   Yes – I have MS….”

If you want to make a donation to help her raise money for her charity, she would greatly appreciate it!  Please click on the attached link to go to her fundraising page.

As Sara put it, “I didn’t choose this charity, it chose me…My illness does not define me, my strength and courage do…”
