It is the largest of the community-based primary care clinics for Eskenazi Health (formerly known as Wishard). The project scope included the renovation of a 33,000 sf. former Circuit City building along with a 37,500 sf. two-story addition. The site was developed for public access and parking and included a landscaped garden/walk path.
905 N Capitol Avenue contributes to the rebirth of the Capitol Avenue Corridor in an area near the Cultural Trail experiencing robust building activity. The 905 N Capitol building is home to both an A/E firm and mechanical equipment firm, contributing to the establishment of a distinct design district on the Capitol Corridor. The dramatic improvement of a blighted industrial building is the outward display of a community that supports sustainable development and commitment to environmental responsibility.
As the nation’s third-largest safety net healthcare system, the Eskenazi campus occupies the space on West 10th Street on the IUPUI campus. It features approximately 1.2 million square feet of facilities along with faculty and research facility housing offices for Eskenazi’s physicians, as well as administrative offices and research areas.
