Shiel Sexton welcomed 21 summer interns at orientation and a welcome mixer! Our interns come from nine universities and consist of one senior, 10 juniors, seven sophomores, and three freshmen. A total of 16 interns will be placed on nine jobsites working directly with our operations teams. The other five interns will be working out of the Indianapolis and Charlotte offices in several departments like estimating, marketing, and support services.
As the summer progresses, we look forward to getting to know our interns and learning what challenges they are navigating through. We are excited to teach our interns about the construction industry and provide them with hands-on experience outside of the classroom!
