College students at Purdue University are saying “goodbye” to the days of outdated apartments and “hello” to a new, indulgent living experience.

The Hub at West Lafayette offers 289 units of luxury boarding options and is conveniently located adjacent to Krannert School of Management and behind campus-favorite Harry’s Chocolate Shop.

“Since the students moved in two weeks ago I have heard how much they enjoy the off campus living and since their apartment is so close to campus, the access to their classes is quick and easy,” says project superintendent Eric McNamee.

This 11-story building offers 599 beds with floor plans ranging from studio apartments to three-story townhomes. Each furnished unit features private bedrooms and bathrooms, a washer/dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen. Student residents also have access to onsite parking with a three-story parking garage.

The Hub includes modern amenities exclusive to the apartment community on its third floor. The heated infinity pool and whirlpool hot tub that overlook South Pierce Street from the outdoor terrace is sure to be the most popular spot on campus.

Additionally, The Hub conveniently has its own fitness center and yoga studio. The building also features a sauna and tanning booth to round out the wellness experience.

The two courtyards and the two grilling areas provide ample outdoor space for social gatherings. The cozy clubhouse serves as the perfect place to relax and watch a movie or play a game of pool.

This project dramatically improves the student living experience on campus, and Shiel Sexton was proud to build this expansive project with UP Campus and Core Properties. Check out the video below to see the new facility!
