Shiel Sexton won two respectable awards at the 28th Coalition for Construction Safety (CCS) Awards Celebration which recognizes safety achievements in the construction and facilities maintenance industry in Indiana.

The first honor achieved by Shiel Sexton was the Outstanding Project Safety Award for the Gainbridge Fieldhouse – Fieldhouse of the Future Modernization Phase 1 project. The distinction acknowledges the best Owner-Contractor project team that demonstrates the most exceptional commitment to safety and delivers an excellent statistical record. Shiel Sexton is working with the Capital Improvement Board of Marion County to complete this exciting project with all phases finalized in 2022.

The second honor endowed was the Outstanding Craftsperson Award, which identifies a submitted craftsperson for their continued safety efforts. Shiel Sexton’s Kameron Holder was selected for this award. Kameron has worked on significant projects on the Purdue University campus, such as the Purdue Memorial Union Dining renovations. He continuously exudes the Expect More® mindset making him a leader in the workforce.

Safety Director Ray Lake stated, “Kameron has done an outstanding job this past year in regards to safety and going the extra mile to improve each project that he has worked on.”
