Olivia Roop is a Junior at Purdue University and she is majoring in Construction Management Technology. 

What projects will you be working on/are involved with this summer?  

This summer, I will be working on the Stutz Building Project. 

Have you worked at Shiel Sexton before?  

I have not worked at Shiel Sexton previously. 

What is your past internship experience (if any)?  

This is my first internship experience. 

What are you hoping to learn this summer with this internship?  

This summer I am excited to see how the proper delegation of responsibilities and resources can lead to the success of a large-scale project. I am also excited to learn how to tackle all of the complications that come with projects of this size. 

How will this internship advance your career?/ Where would you like your career to go?  

I believe that my experience at Shiel Sexton will help me figure out what I want my career to look like after college.  It will also allow me to make valuable connections that will last a lifetime.  

What do you like about working at Shiel Sexton?  

I love the work environment here at Shiel Sexton. Coming to the jobsite as the only intern can be nerve-racking, but the team has made me feel so welcome and they are eager to help me learn.
