The Shiel Sexton mantra “Expect More” is incorporated into all things from company culture to jobsite technology. As the demand for increased technology accelerates, Shiel Sexton continuously pushes to stay ahead of owner needs and utilize the most advantages technologies.

Recently the roll-out of a helpful tool, StructionSite, has been implemented in our projects. As a streamlined photography documentation and organization tool, not only does this software integrate with Procore, but it allows better project photo organization for the construction team. This includes drone footage, 360 photos, and videos that can be saved and pinpointed on the jobsite map to demonstrate the progression of each phase of the project.

Todd Leone, Project Manager, uses StructionSite on the White River State Park Phase 2 development in downtown Indianapolis. “StructionSite is an awesome tool. I can take inventory, view the jobsite as a whole or in a specific room, and take 360 progress photos to present to the owners. When dealing with new technology on the jobsite, I like to ask myself if this improves safety, time management, and communication, and StructionSite is right on target.”

As technology is increasingly implemented in the construction industry, it is important to branch out and execute programs that can efficiently impact a project’s progress. Shiel Sexton continuously adapts and trains on technology uses that can ultimately distinguish how we build for people who “Expect More”.
