On Wednesday, October 17th, the Indy Chambers hosted the 41st Annual Monumental Awards at the Indiana Roof Ballroom celebrating the construction, engineering, and architecture firms in metro Indianapolis. Projects submitted were eligible in nine categories including– Architecture, Construction, Engineering, Innovative Reuse, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Neighborhood Revitalization, Public Art, and Real Estate Development. 

Two of Shiel Sexton’s projects were recognized during the award program.  Ironworks Hotel earned the Achievement Award in the Construction category, and Phoenix Theatre earned the top Honor Award in the Neighborhood Revitalization category.   Jim Shook, Bill Simmons, and Kevin Kruse represented Phoenix Theatre, along with Brad Magee of Shiel Sexton, all accepted the prestigious Honor Award on stage. 

Rowland Design submitted Liberty Fund Headquarters in Carmel, Indiana, and won the Merit Award for Architecture. Shiel Sexton was thrilled to be a part of this project as Construction Manager and congratulate Rowland Design for their great work! 

We look forward to the Monumental Awards each year to recognize and celebrate our projects with clients. This year was an exciting year, and we look forward to next year’s celebration!
