Following Shiel Sexton’s recent build-out of a 585,000 SF speculative industrial building at I-70 West Commerce Park, Sunbeam has yet again partnered with Shiel Sexton for the new construction of a second, 602,067 SF speculative industrial building at the site. The $16 million project, which broke ground in mid-May, will add four new tenant spaces to the booming industrial park by the end of November.

Sunbeam Development began investing in Indianapolis in 1967 and has since expanded its portfolio to include several multi-million dollar developments such as Exit Five in Fishers, Castle Creek Office Park, six shopping centers in Castleton, and now I-70 West Commerce Park, all of which involved some level of partnership with Shiel Sexton.

Long term relationships only work when both parties appreciate the hard work and dedication of each other’s team. “For Shiel Sexton, Daryl Coleman has worked hard to deliver her projects for Sunbeam, and in turn they have rewarded Shiel Sexton with more work,” says Shiel Sexton COO, Kevin Hunt. “We build for people who expect more… for years Sunbeam has expected more and we have delivered. There have been a lot of people here helping to build that relationship and I am sure I will miss a few names… Tim Sexton, Bob Groogan, Mike Dilts, Gil Hutchins, Steve Osbon, Mark Stanfield, Chuck Scholer, Bill Banker, and of course Daryl.”

Shiel Sexton is pleased to deliver another great project for Sunbeam and we look forward to continuing this relationship for another 30 years!
