  • Kris Altice

    Kris Altice, General Counsel, Shiel Sexton

    Kris joined the Shiel Sexton Board of Directors in 2023. Beginning her career with the company in 1999, Kris was the first general counsel for the firm. With 30 years of experience in construction law and business litigation, her legal background has been a valuable asset to Shiel Sexton. Kris has served on several boards including the Methodist Health Foundation, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Indianapolis 500 Festival, Ruth Lilly Health Education Center, and the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series. Kris was also instrumental in assisting Shiel Sexton's transformation into an ESOP company. Kris is a frequent speaker on topics related to construction law and in-house counsel issues.

  • Mike Dilts

    Mike Dilts, Chairman/CEO, Shiel Sexton

    Mike has been on the Shiel Sexton Board of Directors since 1995 and currently serves as Chair of the Board. Since joining Shiel Sexton in 1985, he has worked through project management, account management and business development before leading operations. Mike volunteers his time across multiple community organizations including United Way of Central Indiana, Providence Cristo Rey High School, Indianapolis Public Safety Foundation (IPSF), Marian University, Indiana Sports Corp., and the Governor's Residence Commission, among others.

  • Steve F. Dwyer

    Steve F. Dwyer, Retired President and COO, Rolls-Royce Corporation

    Steve joined the Shiel Sexton Board of Directors as our first outside board member in 2017. With his background in manufacturing and supply chain logistics combined with a personal concern for employee development, Steve brings a unique perspective to the Board. Steve spent over 30 years in the aerospace and defense sector with Textron, Allied Signal and Honeywell before joining Rolls-Royce. Prior to his role as President and COO of the Indianapolis site, Steve served as President of Rolls-Royce Defense North America. While at Rolls-Royce, Steve helped to create and launch Conexus Indiana which is the state’s primary organization for promoting employee development in advanced manufacturing and logistics. After retiring from Rolls-Royce, Steve served as a founding board member and then President and CEO of Conexus Indiana until 2017. Steve and his wife, Cathy, live in Zionsville.

  • Juan Gonzalez

    Juan Gonzalez, Market President for Central Indiana, KeyBank

    Juan has been on the Shiel Sexton Board of Directors since 2020. He serves as KeyBank’s Market President for Central Indiana as well as the Business Banking Sales Leader in the state of Indiana. With more than 20 years of experience in the banking and financial industry, Juan is actively involved in the community as the external executive face of KeyBank. He partners closely with Key’s Corporate Responsibility Group to develop and implement a Community lending and investment strategy that will enable KeyBank to meet its corporate and social responsibilities. Juan holds an MBA degree in Finance from Butler University and a B.S. degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. He is involved in many community organizations including Indianapolis Chamber Board of Directors, Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, Board of Directors for Gennesaret Free Clinic, Indianapolis 500 Festival Board of Directors, Academic Medical Center (IU Health) Board of Directors, Dynamo F.C. (President), Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP) and the Indiana Latino Scholarship Fund (Chair). He is a graduate of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series Class XXXII.

  • Dennis Dye

    Dennis Dye, Executive Vice President of Real Estate, Shiel Sexton

    Dennis joined the Shiel Sexton Board of Directors in 2021. He brings more than 20 years of development and construction experience to Shiel Sexton. As Executive Vice President of Real Estate, Dennis strategically develops and grows the development services of Shiel Sexton. His well-respected approach of putting the client’s needs priority blends perfectly with our Expect More belief at Shiel Sexton. Dedicated to improving the Indianapolis community, Dennis contributes his time to many organizations including Vice Chair of Indiana Sports Corporation, Chair of the Horizon League Basketball Tournament Local Organizing Committee, Board Member of the 2022 Indy College Football Playoff, and the Butler University Lacy School of Business Dean’s Advisory Council.

  • Richard (Buddy) Hennessey

    Richard (Buddy) Hennessey, Retired Executive Vice President, Shiel Sexton

    Buddy has been on the Shiel Sexton Board of Directors since 2002. He managed real estate assets and development activities for the firm for almost 18 years. After graduating from Indiana University in accounting, Buddy joined Price Waterhouse, eventually becoming the tax partner in charge of its Indianapolis office. Before joining Shiel Sexton, he also spent eight years as the owner/manager of a private real estate equity firm. Buddy is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.

  • Kevin Hunt

    Kevin Hunt, President, Shiel Sexton

    Kevin has been on the Shiel Sexton Board of Directors since 2009. He began his career at Shiel Sexton in 1989, working through project management, estimating and marketing, and now serves as President/COO. Kevin is involved in several organizations including Forum Credit Union as chairman of the board, Indiana Construction Roundtable as board member, and Indy Chamber as board member and finance committee member. Kevin enjoys being involved in various sports through coaching, participating, and as a spectator.

  • Dan Murphy

    Dan Murphy, CFO, Shiel Sexton

    Dan has been on the Shiel Sexton Board of Directors since 2009. After spending over 25 years in a variety of accounting and finance positions both in public accounting and with a major insurance corporation, Dan joined Shiel Sexton as CFO in 2007 and helped to led Shiel Sexton through an ownership transition in 2012 to its current status as a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Dan serves on the finance committee of the Indiana Sports Corp. He and his wife, Marla, have five children and enjoy volunteer time together at Gennesaret and are active members of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.

  • Karin Sarratt

    Karin Sarratt, Executive Vice President, OneAmerica

    Karin has been on the Shiel Sexton Board of Directors since 2020. She serves as Executive Vice President, leading Community Affairs, Enterprise Marketing and Communications, Human Resources, and Enterprise Strategy for OneAmerica. Karin is a member of the OneAmerica Executive Council and joined the company in fall 2016. Previously vice president of human resources at Anthem, Karin has experience with large, complex and highly regulated companies, and has worked with multi-site executive teams to help them respond to the challenges of connecting with associates’ needs. She also serves as an executive board member for the Indiana Sports Corp., member of the United Way Host Committee Cabinet, and is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho, Inc.
