The Shiel Sexton team is making significant progress on the Delta Faucet headquarters project in Carmel, Indiana. During the month of February, crews wrapped up concrete work in the basement, including a life cycle testing trench, elevator pit, tank pits, basement walls, and pouring of the 15,000 SF concrete slab on grade that will become the basement floor.

Onlookers will see the facility taking shape in March as structural steel is erected by Lenex Steel. The project team anticipates an early April topping-out of the steel frame.

The 80,000 SF expansion to Delta Faucet’s headquarters includes a $2.5 million phased renovation to existing space, as well as $15 million in new construction to add a five-story structure directly attached to the existing 115,000 SF headquarter building. The expansion will add new interactive showrooms for customers, provide room for anticipated growth, an enable all headquarter employees to operate under one roof.

Construction on this exciting project began in mid-July and is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2016.
