The SSCares team was at it again for Shiel Sexton! On Saturday April 26th, six Shiel Sexton employees and friends volunteered at the MS Walk in downtown Indianapolis. The volunteers handed out medals to the walkers/runners as they passed the start line and cheered on the crowd with noise makers, cow bells and pompoms during the race.

On Saturday, May 2nd, an additional fifteen Shiel Sexton employees and friends were “Ask Me” volunteers at the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon. Volunteers assisted runners in finding their start corrals, gear checks and other basic questions and also helped families and friends with any questions they had during the race. For Kathy Jones, an SSC employee, she said the most fun was welcoming the runners, congratulating them on their finish and making the experience easier by answering their questions. Overall, volunteers donated 142.5 hours to the Mini-Marathon.

A big heartfelt thank you to all Shiel Sexton employees and friends that helped in the success of these two Indianapolis events!
