“Riley is a special place for many people and not just those here in Indianapolis, they touch lives throughout our entire state. As a Riley kid from South Bend, I can tell you first-hand they truly are miracle makers and Shiel Sexton is honored to get to play a small role in the differences they are making for children in need.”

-Nick Schellinger
SSCares Chairman

SSCares continued its long standing relationship with Riley Children’s Hospital trough volunteerism with their WFMS Riley Radiothon this past February.  This was a two day event that raised over $85,000 for the children and families who critically need Riley’s services.  Riley Children’s Hospital never turns away a child in need of help, regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Events like this radiothon are vital to raising  funds that ensure everyone who needs medical attention gets it. SSCares provided 26 volunteers who collectively gave over 56 man-hours to answering phones and taking donations. This was the third radiothon SSCares has provided volunteers for in the last year and we look forward  to future events and being of service in any way we can!

“We couldn’t accomplish this great work for our Riley kids without YOUR HELP, and we certainly wouldn’t have had as much fun without you, either. The staff and radio hosts from all three stations—95.5 WFMS, 104.5 WJJK Classic Hits and 93.9 The Beat—truly enjoyed meeting you and are so grateful for your time.”
