Morgan, Eddie

Hired two years ago on a temporary assignment, Eddie Morgan is now a full-time carpenter and his dedication to working safely continues to impress his supervisors, co-workers and the Safety Department. He is regarded by his peers as a motivator and leader in the field.

Eddie’s first project at Shiel Sexton was at the $30 million Ironworks at Keystone Village site, a mixed-use residential and retail development on the north side of Indianapolis. He also spent time working on the new construction of Residence Inn in Wilmette, IL. From there he traveled to our Southeast office to complete the NC State University Lab for Analytical Sciences in Raleigh, NC, and recently finished working on the Con Agra project in Frankfort, IN.

While working on these projects, Eddie was given many opportunities which have inspired him to further his education and pursue more opportunities within Shiel Sexton. Eddie recently enrolled in the construction management program at Ivy Tech Community College. Eddie also enjoys learning about software development and computer drafting, two areas of computer science in which he continues to develop his skills.

What Eddie enjoys most about being part of the Shiel Sexton family is being a partial owner. He is proud to work for a company that not only invests in their employees but also invests in their community. On behalf of Shiel Sexton we thank you, Eddie, for your dedication and commitment to the safety of our workforce!

“Eddie is a tremendous resource for Shiel Sexton and is an excellent team member. His professional approach, attention to detail and problem solving skills continually net positive results. Our employees respect him and want to follow his lead.”
