Charlotte, N.C. and Indianapolis (July 30, 2014) — Shiel Sexton Company, a full service construction management and general contracting firm, today named Karen Landis Price Director of Community Relations for the Carolinas Region, effective August 4.  In this newly-created position, Price will be responsible for community engagement and business development for the company throughout the Carolinas.

A 15-year marketing communications and business development professional, Price has served as Real Estate and Public Affairs Manager for Adams Outdoor Advertising Charlotte for the past three years.  During that time, she became the first female board member for the NC Outdoor Advertising Association. Previously, she worked for the Charlotte Chamber, Landtronics Inc. and The Polymer Group.

In the business community, Karen is an active member of the Rotary Club of Charlotte and Charlotte Chamber.  She is a board member for the UNC Charlotte 49ers Athletic Foundation.

A native of Charlotte, she is a graduate of Queens University with a bachelor’s degree in Business.
