Sermersheim, Carrie crop

Indianapolis (December 11, 2014) — Shiel Sexton Company, a full service construction management and general contracting firm, named Carrie Sermersheim Business Development Manager, effective December 8. In this capacity, Carrie will be focused on opportunities in the commercial, interiors and industrial markets.

Carrie started with Shiel Sexton as intern while completing her bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. Hired full time in August 2007 as a Project Coordinator, Carrie was then promoted to MEP Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager. With a strong understanding of construction management operations and a notable passion for the construction industry, she will bring new insight and strength to the Business Development and Marketing teams.

Carrie enjoys volunteering with Special Olympics of Indiana and SSCares, Shiel Sexton’s Community Outreach Committee. She is also an active member of St. Christopher Parish in Speedway, Indiana.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, she is a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
