Shiel Sexton Intern Spotlight...

Haiden Rose is a Sophomore at Ball State University where he is majoring in Construction Management. 

What projects will you be working on/are involved with this summer?  

I will be working on the Bottleworks project this summer. 

Have you worked at Shiel Sexton before?  

I worked in the concrete department last summer.  

What is your past internship experience (if any)?  

This is my second internship at Shiel Sexton as I worked on the concrete team last year. 

What are you hoping to learn this summer with this internship?  

I am hoping to learn the behind-the-scenes aspects of construction. I’d really like to learn the things that you don’t see when walking on a construction site.  

How will this internship advance your career?/ Where would you like your career to go?  

This internship will advance my career by helping me recognize the aspects of construction that I am unfamiliar with. I am hoping this experience will lead me to a position as a Superintendent in the future.

What I like about working at Shiel Sexton is that everyone is super welcoming and friendly. Not only that, but the people are super easy to work with.
