Shiel Sexton Prepares for the Big Game

Adorning a 21-foot “Super Scarf,” Indiana’s largest Super Bowl volunteer can be found right outside of 902 North Capitol Avenue. “Structureman,” Shiel Sexton’s three-story mascot, is one of over 12,000 Super Bowl volunteers who are donning a donated scarf as part of the “Super Scarves” program. SSC Debuts Employee Stock Ownership Program

In January, Shiel Sexton announced that it will transfer a significant ownership stake to its employees using the tax-free vehicle of ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). Employees will receive allocations of company shares for years to come, whereby their earnings grow tax-free until retirement age.

Lean, Green Patterson Hall Delivered at University of South Carolina

Shiel Sexton partnered with the University of South Carolina on the renovation and expansion of Patterson Hall on the school’s campus in Columbia, SC. Patterson Hall had been housing over 600 students since the 1960s and closed in May 2010 for extensive renovations and additions.

Ivy Tech Celebrates Fall Creek Center Grand Opening

This week the Shiel Sexton team was honored to join officials from Ivy Tech Community College and the City of Indianapolis for the Grand Opening of the new Fall Creek Center. The project was the renovation and addition of a historic building that served the people of Indianapolis from 1913 to 1974 as St. Vincent Hospital.

Shiel Sexton Building New Wabash Facility for Mainstreet Property Group

Mainstreet Property Group selected Shiel Sexton as construction manager for a new 66,000 sf. senior living facility in Wabash, IN. Construction will begin immediately and is scheduled to be completed in December of 2012.
