Shiel Sexton kicked off its annual United Way Experience on October 30, 2015 with a Halloween Costume Party hosted at the Shiel Sexton Headquarters in Indianapolis. Employees enjoyed a meal sponsored by ERMCO, Inc., competed in a Halloween costume contest, and participated in an interactive presentation by United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI), where they learned how their time, resources, and voice can help residents in Central Indiana learn more, earn more, and lead safe and healthy lives.
Shiel Sexton has been a proud supporter of United Way for the past 24 years. Employees fuel United Way’s mission through annual fundraising activities as well as through SSCares, a volunteer committee comprised of Shiel Sexton employees that encourages others to advocate, donate, or volunteer with local nonprofit organizations.
“As a central Indiana based company, we’re always looking for ways to give back to our local community, which is why Shiel Sexton puts time and resources into SSCares. We’re building a family culture through community involvement and United Way of Central Indiana is a big part of that,” says Mike Dilts, CEO.
