Seniors from Hamilton Southeastern High School and Fishers High School were welcomed this school year with two brand new College and Career Academy (CCA) facilities. Shiel Sexton, in partnership with The Skillman Corporation, broke ground on the two CCA additions in March 2014 and reached substantial completion by August 2015, as scheduled for the start of fall classes.

The $85 million expansion adds over 170,000 SF to each school and allows for 1,000 additional students at each location.

The Academies offer an optimum learning environment with new spaces that include teaching stations, administrative areas, a cafeteria, and kitchen, as well as new performing arts additions, physical education space, and expansions to the existing natatorium at Hamilton Southeastern High School. Both schools also received upgrades to existing parking lots, tennis courts, football grandstand expansions, and football concession buildings.

Shiel Sexton is wrapping up commissioning of the HVAC systems and closeout of remaining punch items.
