March is an exciting month for Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis as we break ground on the brand new Fishers dealership on March 29, 2017. The facility not only offers twice as much space as the previous location, it will also present a whole new destination experience for bike enthusiasts across central Indiana.

“Our goal with the new dealership is to expand on the experience we provide at our current location,” says owner Donna Dellen. “With a larger facility and larger parking lot, we will be able to provide better selection, service, events, and charity rides. We will also be able to provide Riders Academy onsite and will be introducing Motorcycle Rentals. With our new café area and outdoor patio, we will be able to provide a relaxed welcoming area for our customers.”

This two-story, 35,000 SF building invites riders to enjoy the Harley-Davidson experience from the moment they pull into the parking lot. The building’s uniquely branded exterior will welcome riders into a richly designed showroom with wood and brick finishes against industrial concrete floors and walls. Wood and black metal ceiling panels, lighting fixtures, and architectural elements complete the look and feel of the Harley-Davidson brand, which is complemented by custom designed furniture and retail displays.

The new dealership’s first floor includes an onsite bike shop for maintenance and repair as well as a café with covered patio, outdoor seating, and two fire pits for visitors to enjoy. The building’s second floor offers additional bike storage as well as a balcony area and multi-purpose room to be used for H.O.G. chapter meetings, riding classes, and other special events hosted by the dealership.

“Shiel Sexton walked into our door many months ago, when we started discussing our new building, with a professional attitude that was appreciated because we sell motorcycles… we don’t build buildings,” said Dellen. “They are walking us through the process of building with a confident manner that helps to reduce the stress level that comes with being out of your comfort zone and spending a great deal of money.”

Shiel Sexton is proud to partner with Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis on this remarkable project for Central Indiana and we look forward to celebrating its groundbreaking on March 29th.
